Cellular materials are characterized by their foamed, cell-structured base, which offers special properties in terms of damping, sealing and insulation. Common materials include cellular rubber, sponge rubber, PE foam and silicone foam, which can have an open-cell, closed-cell or mixed-cell structure.
They even out uneven surfaces, dampen vibrations and prevent the ingress of liquids. They are available as sheets, strips, round profiles or customized cuts, optionally self-adhesive – ideal for flexible industrial applications.
Typical applications: Seals, vibration and shock absorbers, buffers, gap fillers, insulation
Sectors of application: Automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, electronics, aviation, railroad technology
